Top KRG official highlights strengthened diplomatic and economic relations under ninth cabinet

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Safeen Dizayee, the Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Department of Foreign Relations, emphasized the progress in diplomatic and economic ties achieved under the KRG's ninth cabinet.
Speaking to Kurdistan24 on Thursday, Dizayee stated that the KRG has focused on enhancing its relations with both regional and international countries. "The ninth cabinet has worked tirelessly to strengthen diplomatic ties," he said, noting that numerous high-level visits by presidents, prime ministers, and other senior officials to Erbil indicate the region's increasing diplomatic engagement.
Dizayee also highlighted that improved relations are not limited to diplomacy. "Our relationships with foreign countries have not only deepened diplomatically but have also expanded economically," he added, pointing to the KRG's growing international partnerships and cooperation.
The remarks reflect the KRG’s ongoing efforts to solidify its global standing amid regional challenges.
