ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - Khamis al-Khanjar, leader of the Sunni Sovereignty Alliance, congratulated the Kurdistan Region's leadership and people on Monday, for the successful completion of the sixth parliamentary elections, specifically highlighting the Kurdistan Democratic Party's (KDP) significant victory.
"I extend my congratulations to the Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by President Masoud Barzani, for their remarkable success, which demonstrates the Kurdish public's trust in the party and its approach to defending Kurdish rights against groups who prioritize their interests over those of the people," Khanjar stated on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
