ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Sunday and in an interview with Kurdistan24’s correspondent Nawras Abdulla, Adnan Mufti, former member of the High Council for Politics and Interests of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), discussed the importance of formation of the tenth cabinet of Kurdistan Region’s government, the regional circumstances in the Middle East, and other topics.
Mufti urged for the immediate reunification of Pershmerga forces as well as a united position and stance by both Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), especially given the regional circumstances and unfolding events in the Middle East.
He also emphasized that the national interest and the rights of citizens ought to be taken into consideration when forming the new cabinet of government, urging for “putting aside political differences and serving the people.”
