31 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Turkey

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - 31 people were injured in a collision involving 25 vehicles in the Tatvan district of Bitlis.
According to IHA news, the collision occurred on the Bitlis-Tatvan highway, where heavy fog and ice limited visibility.
Upon notification of the situation, multiple ambulances, medical teams, rescue teams, and police teams were dispatched to the region.
According to initial reports, 31 people were injured in the accident involving a truck, a passenger minibus, a city minibus, and numerous cars. The injured were taken to Tatvan State Hospital by ambulance.
Many vehicles were rendered unusable in the accident.
The removal of the vehicles involved in the accident began shortly after.
The road was closed to traffic in both directions due to the high number of vehicles involved in the accident.
