KDP, PUK technical committees to meet on Tuesday to discuss tenth cabinet formation

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – According to the Kurdistan24 correspondent Nawras Abdullah, the technical committees from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) will meet tomorrow at the PUK Political Bureau headquarters.
The meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, will focus on preparing a joint program for forming the new Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) cabinet.
As reported by Kurdistan24's correspondent, the KDP technical committee will be led by Pshtiwan Sadiq, a member of the KDP Political Bureau, while the PUK committee will be headed by Rewas Fayaq, a member of the PUK Political Bureau.
The KDP delegation consists of Pshtiwan Sadiq, Dilshad Shahab, and Omed Sabah, while the PUK delegation includes Rewas Fayaq, Shalaw Kosrat Rasul, and Amanj Rahim.
This meeting comes after a previous gathering on Dec. 17, 2024, when delegations from both parties met at the KDP Political Bureau in Pirmam.
That meeting included KDP representatives Dilshad Shahab, Hoshyar Zebari, Omed Sabah, and Pshtiwan Sadiq, along with PUK representatives Qubad Talabani, Darbaz Kosrat, Rewas Fayaq, and Amanj Rahim.
It marked their second meeting after the sixth Kurdistan Parliament elections to discuss forming the tenth KRG cabinet.
Tomorrow's meeting will be the third technical committee meeting between the KDP and PUK, where they will continue discussions on drafting a joint program for establishing the tenth Kurdistan Regional Government cabinet.
