ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – In a positive development for the political landscape of the Kurdistan Region, Saadi Ahmed Pira, spokesperson for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), revealed on Tuesday that delegations from the PUK and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) will soon meet to initiate discussions on key matters affecting the region’s governance.
Pira emphasized that the upcoming meeting will focus on drafting a plan for enhanced cooperation between the two major political parties, to foster greater unity and collaboration.
Additionally, the talks will address the critical issue of distributing key positions within the tenth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). The goal is to ensure the appointment of qualified individuals to positions that best serve the needs and interests of the Kurdistan Region.
