President Barzani Receives Anbar Leaders, Calls for Balanced Governance
President Barzani emphasized at the meeting that the success of Iraq’s political process depends on full adherence to the constitution, genuine partnership, institutional integrity, and equitable governance.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – President Masoud Barzani on Monday hosted a delegation of prominent figures and community leaders from Anbar Province and the greater Baghdad area at his residence in Pirmam, in a meeting underscoring mutual respect, national unity, and constitutional governance.
According to a statement from the Barzani Headquarters, the delegation expressed deep appreciation to President Barzani for his longstanding support and defense of the constitutional rights of Iraq’s diverse communities.
The visitors also extended gratitude to the people of Kurdistan for their hospitality during times of hardship, particularly during the war against terrorism, when the Kurdistan Region welcomed and sheltered hundreds of thousands of displaced persons.
During the meeting, the delegation presented updates on the current situation in Anbar Province and discussed the challenges and demands facing its population.
They conveyed a number of proposals and requests, calling for more balanced and equitable governance, and emphasized the importance of fostering harmony, coexistence, and fraternity among Iraq’s components.
President Barzani warmly received the delegation and delivered a speech in which he reflected on the political trajectory of Iraq following the collapse of the former regime.
He emphasized that the success of Iraq’s political process depends on full adherence to the constitution, genuine partnership, institutional integrity, and equitable governance.
