IAEA Board Adopts Resolution Against Iran Over Nuclear Non-Compliance
In a swift response, Iran announced it will establish a new uranium enrichment facility "in a secure location," following the board's vote.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — The United Nations nuclear watchdog's board of governors on Thursday adopted a resolution condemning Iran's "non-compliance" with its international obligations, according to AFP.
The motion—drafted by the United States, Britain, France, and Germany—was passed with 19 votes in favor out of 35 total members, diplomatic sources told AFP. The resolution underscores growing international frustration with Iran’s lack of transparency and cooperation regarding its nuclear program.
In a swift response, Iran announced it will establish a new uranium enrichment facility "in a secure location," following the board's vote, according to the Associated Press (AP).
“Other measures are also being planned and will be announced subsequently,” Iranian authorities added, signaling Tehran's intent to escalate its nuclear activities amid mounting diplomatic tensions.
The development marks a renewed point of friction between Iran and the West, further complicating efforts to revive the stalled 2015 nuclear deal and intensifying concerns over nuclear proliferation in the region.
