ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Chinese Embassy in Israel on Tuesday urged its citizens to leave the country “as soon as possible,” as military escalation between Israel and Iran entered its fourth consecutive day.

In a statement published on the WeChat platform, the embassy said, “The Chinese mission in Israel urges Chinese citizens to leave the country as soon as possible via land border crossings, provided they can ensure their personal safety.” It recommended that departures be made “via Jordan.”

The warning comes amid intensifying hostilities that began Friday, when Israel launched a broad military offensive targeting Iranian military and nuclear facilities. The stated goal of the campaign, according to Israeli officials, is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

In response, Iran has launched waves of missile and drone attacks on Israeli territory, triggering widespread destruction and civilian casualties.

“The conflict is continuously escalating,” the Chinese Embassy added. “A large part of the civilian infrastructure has been damaged, the number of civilian casualties is increasing, and the security situation has become more dangerous.”

The embassy’s advisory is the latest in a series of international alerts issued as the region descends into deeper violence, with growing concerns over the safety of foreign nationals.
