Israel’s Defense Ministry: Iran Launched Over 950 Missiles and Drones in Six Days
Israel: Iran fired 950+ drones/missiles in six days, killing 24, wounding 1,217. 25k+ buildings damaged as conflict enters 10th day with no de-escalation in sight.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Israeli Ministry of Defense reported on Sunday that Iran had launched more than 950 drones and missiles at Israeli territory over the span of just six days, from June 16 to 21, 2025. The figures, released via the ministry’s official X platform, underline the magnitude of the ongoing hostilities between the two regional powers.
According to the Defense Ministry, the sustained barrage resulted in the deaths of 24 Israeli civilians and left 1,217 others wounded. The government also confirmed that 8,190 citizens were evacuated to designated shelters due to the severity of the incoming threats.
Widespread Damage to Civilian Infrastructure
The report outlined the extensive destruction inflicted on Israeli property. A total of 25,190 residential buildings and homes, along with 5,629 civilian vehicles and private assets, sustained damage during the Iranian attacks. The ministry noted that much of the targeting focused on civilian population centers, despite Iran’s claims of retaliation.
In a press briefing on Saturday, IDF spokesperson Evi Dvirin stated that since the beginning of the war on June 13, Iran had launched over 1,000 drones toward various parts of Israel. Most were intercepted by Israel’s advanced air defense systems, though many succeeded in reaching their targets.
Israel Warns of Prolonged Conflict
The Israeli military signaled readiness for a protracted confrontation and issued a stark warning to Tehran. “We will not allow the Iranian regime to reestablish its military capacity,” said the IDF spokesperson, emphasizing that Israel remains poised for sustained defense and counter-offensive operations.
As the conflict enters its tenth day, the threat of further escalation looms large. While international calls for de-escalation continue, both sides appear entrenched in what has become the most intense direct military engagement between Iran and Israel to date.
