ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – According to a statement reported by the Iranian state-aligned Tasnim news agency on Monday, Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabbari, adviser to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), declared that Iranian nuclear facilities “can’t be destroyed with one attack and a few explosions.”
Jabbari criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump’s approach toward Iran, saying, “You targeted commanders, but operational commanders emerged,” referencing the ongoing resilience of Iranian leadership despite targeted strikes.
He further dismissed claims about American technological advantages, stating, “You said you have a drone and micro-drone division, but you didn’t succeed.” Jabbari also refuted predictions of internal dissent, emphasizing that instead of division, “unity was created in Iran.”
Highlighting a recent attack on the Fordow nuclear site, Jabbari asserted, “There should be no doubt that the US failed in the Fordow attack, and the myth of bunker-buster bombs was shattered,” according to Tasnim.
The IRGC, an elite branch of Iran’s military established after the 1979 revolution, has been designated as a terrorist organization by the United States since 2019.
This statement adds to ongoing tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear program and the complex geopolitical dynamics in the region.
