PM Barzani, British Ambassador Discuss Erbil-Baghdad Issues

They agreed to form a new KRG cabinet as soon as possible, stressing that there should be no further delays.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with British Ambassador to Iraq Irfan Siddiq on Wednesday, during which they discussed the Erbil-Baghdad Issues, according to a statement from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

During the meeting, which included Andrew Bizley, the British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, both sides exchanged views on the necessity and significance of resolving issues between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi government, while also emphasizing the importance of further developing bilateral relations.

They agreed to form a new KRG cabinet as soon as possible, stressing that there should be no further delays.

Additionally, the discussions covered recent events and developments in the region, highlighting the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East.
