Qatar Consul General praises Kurdistan Regional Government's efforts at Youth Graduation Ceremony
ERBIL (Kurdista24)—On Saturday, at the graduation ceremony for the first round of youth training, Qatar's Consul General in Erbil, HE Hussein bin Ali Saleh al-Fadala, highlighted the importance of effort and coordination in achieving success and commending the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) for its work in this regard.
“Success requires a lot of effort, and facing these challenges requires more coordination, which is something that the Kurdistan Regional Government has worked on,” said Al Fadala during his speech.
He also emphasized the strategic partnership between the KRG and the Qatar Foundation and urged the youth to seize the opportunities presented to them.
“The Kurdistan Regional Government has made a strategic partnership in this context, and I call on the youth to take advantage of these opportunities and developments to make their dreams come true. I hope this project will become a big step towards a better future,” he added.
On Saturday, under the auspices of Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, the first round of youth training graduation ceremonies was held in Erbil.
Over 4,200 young people from the Kurdistan Region celebrated their successful completion of the initial phase of the Kurdistan Region’s Youth Training course.
A memorandum of understanding with the Qatar Foundation was also signed during the event, further solidifying the partnership.
The six-month training program, supervised by the Office of Initiatives and Relations in the Prime Minister’s Office, provided extensive training to young people from the Kurdistan Region and the Kurdish diaspora. The course aimed to educate participants and enhance their sense of national pride.
The memorandum of understanding between the Office of Initiatives and Relations and the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development will focus on developing the skills of the Kurdistan Region’s youth, supporting university and college students, and launching several other projects.
