KRG to showcase Kurdish agricultural products at SIAL Paris 2024
The Kurdistan Region will proudly present a variety of its agricultural products, including potatoes, rice, honey, pomegranates, and tomato paste, introducing them to the global market.
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – For the first time, a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will participate in SIAL Paris 2024, one of the world’s largest food industry trade fairs. The event, which runs from Oct. 19 to 23, will feature over 17,000 major food companies from 200 countries.
The Kurdistan Region will proudly present a variety of its agricultural products, including potatoes, rice, honey, pomegranates, and tomato paste, introducing them to the global market. This marks a significant step for the region in promoting its rich agricultural resources to an international audience.
The KRG and its participants are officially registered on the SIAL Paris platform, allowing them to establish direct contact with international investment companies. This will enable them to meet the growing demand for Kurdish products and create lasting business relationships.
The KRG's participation is seen as a vital opportunity to strengthen ties with global investors, expand market opportunities for local products, and position the Kurdistan Region as a reliable source of high-quality agricultural goods.
