Iraq's population census, U.S. support
The U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski reaffirmed Washington's support to Iraq for running a general population census.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – Since 1997 it is the first time Iraq runs census all over its provinces, this time to include Kurdistan Region. The census is important in any population to provide an accurate information to re-shape political, social, economic, environmental and development strategies in the country.
The U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski reaffirmed Washington's support to Iraq for running a general population census.
