ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Ahmed Dawood Oglu, president of the Future Party, on Thursday emphasized the importance of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani's recent visit to Ankara and his discussions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. 

In a statement posted on social media, Dawood Oglu highlighted the significance of the timing, amid escalating regional tensions.

"We must continue our dialogue with our Kurdish brothers in Iraq and Syria to counter the occupying forces that seek to destabilize the region," Dawood Oglu stated. He further stressed the necessity for Middle Eastern nations to avoid becoming collateral damage in the broader international power struggles. "Peace in the Middle East will be achieved through mutual support and coordination," he affirmed.

The meeting, which took place on Tuesday signifies a pivotal moment in diplomatic relations, enhancing the strategic partnership between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey at a time when the Middle East is confronting changing political and security challenges. This engagement underscores the Kurdistan Region's vital role in fostering regional stability and cooperation.
