Tehran, Iran - Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei received on Saturday senior officials from the Tehran-backed Palestinian militant group Hamas, in the first such meeting since a truce was reached between the group and Israel.
"You overcame the Zionist regime, and in fact, America, and by God's grace, you did not allow them to achieve any of their goals," Khamenei told the group's leaders in Tehran, according to state TV.
