Turkey’s renowned Kurdish Businessman Commends President Barzani’s Role in Peace Process

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Shah Ismail Badrkhan Oğlu, President of the Association of Professionals and Business Owners in Kurdistan of Turkey (Bakur), expressed his deep appreciation for President Masoud Barzani, Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, and the Kurdish leadership for their support in seeking a democratic resolution to the Kurdish issue and advancing the political process in the right direction.

Speaking at a press conference, Badrkhan Oğlu emphasized that the Kurdish cause is at a pivotal moment, stating, "We are witnessing historic events that could shape the future of the Kurdish question. Following Abdullah Ocalan’s call and the commitment of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), there has been a positive reception from the broader Turkish public."
Advocating for Democratic Solutions
He reiterated the association’s belief that the resolution to the Kurdish issue must come through democratic means, adding, "The only viable path forward is through dialogue and political engagement. Through democratic methods, a lasting solution can be achieved."
