ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – At least three people were killed and more than 90 others injured early Monday morning after a barrage of Iranian ballistic missiles struck multiple locations across Israel, Israeli medical sources confirmed.

According to Israeli media outlets, nationwide air raid sirens were triggered as the missiles hit, spreading panic and causing widespread disruption.

Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported that the strikes ignited a fire at the Haifa power station, suggesting deliberate targeting of critical infrastructure.

Following the attack, Israel's national electricity company confirmed damage to power facilities in several areas, though the full extent remains under assessment. The Israeli military announced it had activated its defense systems to intercept incoming threats and urged civilians to adhere to safety protocols.

In an official advisory, the military instructed residents to remain inside protected areas and await further instructions before reemerging. “Do not leave the shelters until you receive a clear directive,” the statement emphasized, adding, “Follow the guidelines issued by the Home Front Command at all times.”

In a stark warning, the Israeli military also released a threat map highlighting potential Iranian missile impact zones, stating, “Each red pin that you see on this map represents hundreds of people in Israel that are currently forced to run to shelter because of Iranian ballistic missiles.”

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the assault, declaring, “Once again, the Iranian regime launches missiles at Israel, targeting civilians and forcing terrified families across the country to grab their children and run for cover.”

This incident marks a dangerous escalation in the long-running hostilities between Israel and Iran, raising fears of a broader regional conflict.
