KRG Institutions Praise Kurdistan24's Role in Public Awareness on 11th Anniversary

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Several government and institutional officials in the Kurdistan Region on Saturday congratulated Kurdistan24 on the 11th anniversary of its launch, praising the channel's role in delivering reliable information, raising public awareness, and contributing to the protection of national interests and community development.

In separate anniversary messages issued on October 31, the Erbil Security Directorate "Assayish," Kurdistan Foundation, Erbil General Directorate of Health, and the Kurdistan Regional Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry commended the channel's professional work and its contribution to informing the public across different sectors.

The Erbil Security Directorate congratulated Kurdistan24's general director, management board, journalists, and employees, expressing its wishes for the channel's continued success and leadership in the media sector.

The directorate highlighted Kurdistan24's role in communicating facts and raising public awareness, describing it as an important media institution in delivering accurate information and reflecting realities to the public.

It also recalled the circumstances surrounding the channel's establishment 11 years ago, when the Kurdistan Region and its Peshmerga forces were confronting the Islamic State (ISIS).

The directorate's message said Kurdistan24 had stood alongside the people of Kurdistan during that difficult period, contributing to the protection of the region's land, people, and national assets.

Yara Barzanji, head of Kurdistan Foundation, also extended congratulations to the channel's management and staff, wishing them continued success and greater achievements in serving Kurdistan.

In her message, Barzanji expressed hope that the anniversary would become a new source of inspiration for further progress and stronger collective efforts in the service of the Kurdistan Region.
