ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) spokesperson Peshawa Hawramani on Saturday praised Kurdistan24 for its professional journalism, commitment to social values, and role in safeguarding national security, as he congratulated the channel's management and staff on the anniversary of its launch.
In remarks to Kurdistan24 on October 31, Hawramani commended the channel's journalists and employees for maintaining professional standards and urged them to continue their work with the same dedication and seriousness.
"I hope you will always continue with this same enthusiasm and seriousness along the professional path you have followed in preserving social values, safeguarding national security, and adhering to journalistic ethics and moral principles," he said.
Hawramani also highlighted the national responsibility of media professionals, stressing that the broader interests of the country and its people should take precedence over competition among media outlets.
"Our message to all media outlets is to love their country. The competition to obtain news should not lead them to pursue every issue without considering the security, political, and social circumstances of Kurdistan," he said.
"Protecting this homeland stands above any media competition," he added.
The government spokesperson described Kurdistan24 as a "reputable, responsible, and well-organized" media institution, reaffirming his appreciation for its professional approach.
He concluded by wishing continued success to the channel's management, journalists, and entire workforce.
