Netherlands reaffirms continued support for Peshmerga reforms
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – A senior Dutch military adviser on Tuesday said his country will continue to support the Kurdish Peshmerga within the framework of reforms undertaken by the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs.

Col. Paul Vos made the statement during his meeting with Brigadier General Hajar Omar, the chief advisor of the Peshmerga ministry.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Peshmerga, the two sides discussed the progress made in the reform program.
After talking about his visits to a number of Peshmerga bases, Col. Vos reaffirmed that the Dutch forces will continue their support program for the Ministry of Peshmerga.
The Netherlands, the US, the UK, and Germany form the unique Multi-National Advisory Group (MNAG) that enthusiastically supports the project to establish a modern, effective, affordable, and accountable Peshmerga force under the control of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

This includes a reform program in the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs to bring all Peshmerga forces under a fully unified command rather than separate commands under different political parties.
