KDP President Masoud Barzani condemns attack on KDP Official

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani called Akram Salih, the head of the 22nd Garmiyan branch of the KDP, on Tuesday evening.
During the conversation, President Barzani expressed his satisfaction regarding the safety of the head of the 22nd branch of the KDP and condemned the failed assassination attempt that occurred in front of his house.
In the early hours of Monday morning, there was an explosion that targeted the vehicle belonging to the head of the 22nd branch of the KDP in Kalar, right in front of his residence.

Moreover, the Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC) announced on Tuesday that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) is behind the KDP official's failed assassination attempt.
