Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Ceremony held, KRG’s PM attended as well

The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst dates back to centuries. It is one of Britain’s most prestigious military academies and is considered to be the primary training center for officers in the Royal British Army. The college is located in Sandhurst, Berkshire, England, UK.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdistan Region Government’s Prime Minister’s son, Areen, has successfully completed a very challenging Regular Commissioning Course at the Royal Sandhurst Military Academy in the United Kingdom on August 9th, 2024.

Therefore, he’s awarded the international medal from that academy.

The grandest day in the Sandhurst calendar, is the Sovereign's Parade, friends, family and VIPs gather before Old College Square, they watch all the cadets as well as who take part in their final parade.

The Premier, today, attended Sovereign's Parade that would take place at the end of each term from Sandhurst of Officer Cadets.

The medals presented to who would complete the Commissioning Course and take so many hours of hard work throughout the term.

Who joins the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, will conduct training designed to make them an effective leader of the soldiers, in the military training infantry-based.

This academy decreed by King George as Sovereign's Parade, it consists of many powerful academic trainings, one of them is the Commissioning Course, which is known as the national center for the leadership of all British Army officers at the academy.

The academy trains all students admitted to the university, both boys and girls, to become officers of the Royal Army Sandhurst College, which is the equivalent of the Royal Naval College Britain and Cranwell College of the Royal Air Force of the British Army.

There have been 5,400 international students trained at the Academy since 1947, from 129 countries. The Royal Sandhurst Military Academy Training, is held once a year. The aim is to select 30 senior officers (SNCOs) from among 60 officers.

Students are selected by their own Defense departments back from their place of origin, and their applications will be referred to the Ministry of Defense in the UK through the Defense Attaché.

This Sandhurst academy’s Medal is fully approved by the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense, can be worn on the uniform of the recipient, therefore to show they have successfully finished the very challenging 44-weeks Regular Commissioning Course at the Royal Sandhurst Military Academy in the United Kingdom.

The academy also organizes an annual closed event for friends and family of those who have successfully graduated from this highly well-known academy.
