PM Masrour Barzani chairs KRG Council of Ministers meeting to discuss salaries, financial monitoring, and wheat report

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Wednesday afternoon, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani chaired a meeting of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Council of Ministers.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani.

KRG spokesperson Peshawa Hawramani informed reporters that the meeting's agenda included a focus on the region's financial monitoring and the financial situation, with discussions centering on the operations of the two monitoring offices located in Erbil and Baghdad.

Additionally, the Council of Ministers addressed preparations by the Iraqi Independent High Election Commission for the upcoming Kurdistan parliamentary elections. 

In another part of the meeting, a report on farmers' wheat and strategies for addressing related issues were presented and discussed.
