ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – A business forum fostering collaboration between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), the Erbil Chamber of Commerce, and a prominent Thai business delegation took place in Erbil on Thursday.
The Thai Ambassador to Iraq, Sopharak Prongthura, expressed his country's keen interest in bolstering relations with the Kurdistan Region.
"We aspire for enhanced coordination and trade exchanges between the people of Kurdistan and the Kingdom of Thailand," Ambassador Prongthura stated. "We will dedicate further efforts to deepen our ties for the mutual benefit of both nations."
The Ambassador shared a personal anecdote highlighting the Kurdish people's resilience amidst challenges, which he learned through a film. This resilience inspired him to seek stronger cooperation and trade between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Kurdistan Region.
