IRGC Spokesman: Any Enemy Move Will Be Met With A Response Several Times Greater

Mohebbi says the enemy's rhetoric is primarily for media consumption and that they know their internal situation is chaotic, while warning that Iran's operational plans and readiness mean any miscalculation will be answered with a disproportionate response

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - IRGC spokesman Sardar Hussein Mohebbi declared on Saturday that Iran will respond to the smallest enemy mistake with a response several times greater, that the enemy's rhetoric is primarily for media consumption and they themselves know better than anyone that effective military operations are not currently possible for them, and that just as the enemy was defeated by Iranian resistance before, it will be defeated again if it repeats its mistake.

"At the smallest enemy mistake, we will give a several-times-greater response," Mohebbi said.

The enemy's rhetoric has more of a media character, and they themselves know better than anyone that in current conditions the possibility of conducting effective operations does not exist for them and they will definitely not reach their objectives.

He continued: "The enemy was defeated before by the resistance of the Iranian people, and if it repeats its mistake, it will be defeated again. They know well that their internal situation faces chaos, and in current conditions they do not have the capacity for serious operations."

Mohebbi added: "If the enemy carries out even a limited move, given existing readiness and the operational plans of the armed forces, Iran's response will be several times greater."

Mohebbi's statement arrives at a precise moment of significant diplomatic and military activity surrounding Iran. US President Trump said Thursday that the US is not negotiating with Iran and that a development is expected fairly soon, with most people believing it will come after the November 3 midterm elections. Trump has publicly ruled out strikes before November 3 but has hinted consistently at a possible military escalation after the elections. A third US aircraft carrier, the USS Theodore Roosevelt, and approximately 10,000 Marines are heading to the Middle East expected to arrive by end of November. US Defense Secretary Hegseth made a secret visit to Israeli PM Netanyahu on October 19, with Netanyahu publicly declaring that eliminating the Iranian regime is Israel's primary objective.

Mohebbi's characterization of the enemy's internal situation as chaotic is a direct reference to the US political environment ahead of November 3 midterms, in which only 28 percent of Americans approve of Trump's handling of the Iran conflict. His claim that the enemy cannot conduct effective operations in current conditions inverts the American military posture narrative at a moment when the Pentagon is publicly deploying a third carrier, and Bessent has confirmed Iran's Kharg Island oil terminal has seen no loading since August.

The phrase "several times greater" echoes Mohebbi's remarks from October 19, when he told a Tehran ceremony that Iran has routed the world's greatest superpower, that the enemy had to abandon its original goals of regime change and partition, and that US threats are now more amusing than serious.
