"I am truly honored," Fattah shared, his voice filled with emotion. "For 31 years, I have been selling tea. It is an honest living, and I am grateful that the people of Kalar and Germian appreciate my service."
The statue, a first of its kind in the area, is more than just a beautiful addition to the cityscape. It symbolizes Kalar's deep-rooted love for tea and marks the first step towards the city's first-ever tea festival, slated for early next year.
"The German Aid Organization is proud to support this initiative," an organizer revealed. "The idea behind the statue is to acknowledge Kalar's thriving tea scene. With over 60 tea houses in the city, it's the perfect place to celebrate this beloved beverage."
The organizer further emphasized the uniqueness of the statue, stating, "It's not just a statue, it's the largest Samovar statue anywhere. This is a testament to Kalar's commitment to its tea heritage."
Tea, a beverage enjoyed worldwide, comes in various types, each with its unique taste and preparation method. While black and green tea are popular choices, it's essential to remember that moderation is key, as excessive consumption can have adverse health effects.
The Samovar statue stands tall as a reminder of Kalar's vibrant tea culture and a beacon for the upcoming tea festival.
It is a tribute to the hardworking individuals like Fattah who have kept this tradition alive for generations, ensuring that the warmth and camaraderie associated with tea continue to flourish in Kalar.
