ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with British Ambassador to Iraq Stephen Hitchen on Tuesday to discuss key regional issues, including upcoming elections and relations between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government.

The meeting, attended by Andrew Bizley, British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, emphasized the importance of ensuring that elections are held peacefully, fairly, and free from fraud and violations.

Both parties reaffirmed the need for continued support to the Peshmerga forces, highlighting the UK’s ongoing commitment to stability in the region.
