Ministry of Education changes, updates textbooks titles
The Ministry of Education at the Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) announced the records of all educational settings in Kurdistan will be consolidated and published for the academic year (2025-2026)

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – To achieve the positive outcomes and productive changes, essential and sometimes radical reforms needed, in a state, specifically in the education and health sectors. The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) always highlighted the importance of these sectors and granted them high priority in his 9th cabinet.
"We have consistently prioritized the education sector to the best of our abilities. Even during the most difficult circumstances, including the coronavirus pandemic, we ensured that the educational process continued uninterrupted through online and electronic learning platforms" Premier stated in one of the ceremonies for opening numerous educational settings and schools.

A cobweb coordination between the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research department, Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to move towards the digital transformation to introduce the updated digital governmental services to the citizens through the governmental services.

The Ministry of Education at the Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) announced the records of all educational settings in Kurdistan will be consolidated and published for the academic year (2025-2026).
By all means, challenges and shortcomings will be faced for such core change, the KRG's Education Minister, Alan Hama Saeed met with the General Directorate of Programs of the Ministry on Thursday, December 5th, 2024, to discuss another phase of changes in the curriculum of academic education in the region.
According to an announcement about the meeting, disputes made regarding the outcomes and reports by each dedicated team, also the records of all the educational setting for the academic year (2025-2026) in the region to be merged and to get published by the Ministry of Education.
The devoted teams by the Ministry of Education, continuously coordinate and work in the General Directorate of Programs to work on changing and updating the titles of textbooks of Grades 5, 7, 9, level 10 and 12 in the High Schools.
The updates and changes apply to all the academic grades mentioned above and to the object-learnings are taught, even apply to the Education Teacher's Guidebooks including the available phases.
