ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - On Sunday, the head of military operations in Syria Ahmed al-Sharaa (Abu Mohammed al-Jolani), met with the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen to discuss the country's current political developments and strategic circumstances.
Media sources indicate that al-Sharaa and Pedersen assessed the international roadmap outlined in the 2015 UN Security Council Resolution 2252 concerning Syria.
