Slight temperature rise, widespread rain expected across Kurdistan Region

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - According to the Kurdistan Region Meteorological Department, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, accompanied by a wave of rainfall that will cover most areas on Friday.
The forecast shows that the Kurdistan Region's sky will change from partly cloudy to fully cloudy, with light rain beginning in the afternoon, intensifying during the night across most areas.
According to the forecasts, rainfall amounts will be higher in Sulaimani province, Halabja, and the independent Raparin administration in comparison to other areas of the Kurdistan Region.
Moreover, light snowfall is likely in the mountainous border areas in the eastern part of the Kurdistan Region.
The forecast also indicates that temperatures will rise by approximately 1 to 2 degrees.
