Trump Hails ‘Peace’ Between Israel and Iran in Truth Social Post Amid Ongoing Tensions

They have so much to gain, and yet, so much to lose if they stray from the road of RIGHTEOUSNESS & TRUTH. The future for Israel & Iran is UNLIMITED, & filled with great PROMISE. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!” the president wrote.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – U.S. President Donald J. Trump posted a message on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, celebrating what he described as a breakthrough in peace between Israel and Iran.

“Israel & Iran came to me, almost simultaneously, and said, ‘PEACE!’ I knew the time was NOW. The World, and the Middle East, are the real WINNERS! Both Nations will see tremendous LOVE, PEACE, AND PROSPERITY in their futures. They have so much to gain, and yet, so much to lose if they stray from the road of RIGHTEOUSNESS & TRUTH. The future for Israel & Iran is UNLIMITED, & filled with great PROMISE. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!” the president wrote.

This post follows President Trump’s earlier announcement on Monday that Israel and Iran had agreed to a “Complete and Total CEASEFIRE,” which was to begin approximately six hours after his message, marking what he called the formal end of “THE 12 DAY WAR.”

However, the ceasefire announcement has faced skepticism, with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi clarifying in an X post that no formal ceasefire agreement existed and that Iranian military operations would continue until 4 a.m. Tehran time, contingent on Israel ceasing its military actions by that deadline.

Further complicating the situation, CNN reported sirens sounded in Israel as the military identified missile launches from Iran toward Israeli territory, with the Israeli Air Force actively intercepting and responding to the threat.

The conflicting signals highlight the fragility of the current situation despite President Trump’s optimistic message.
