KRG Natural Resources Ministry Condemns Khurmala Drone Attack
The Ministry of Natural Resources, in a statement on Monday, condemned the attacks on the Khurmala oil field. The ministry confirmed that the attacks caused no casualties and that the only damage was to the station's water pipes.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Two bomb-laden drones have targeted the Khurmala oil field in Erbil province, causing damage to the facility's water pipes but resulting in no casualties, according to separate statements from the Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Natural Resources and its counter-terrorism agency.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, in a statement on Monday, July 14, 2025, condemned the attacks on the Khurmala oil field. The ministry confirmed that the attacks caused no casualties and that the only damage was to the station's water pipes.
Separately, Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism provided a precise timeline for the incident. The agency announced that this evening, two explosive drones crashed at the Khurmala oil field at 20:20 and 20:25.
Both official sources emphasized that the incident resulted in no casualties.
