ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Yemen’s Houthi rebels said Thursday they had launched a fourth missile attack against Israel, further escalating their involvement in the widening regional conflict.

In a televised statement, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the group fired a “barrage of ballistic missiles” at what he described as “vital Israeli enemy targets” in the Tel Aviv area.

The Israeli military confirmed earlier that it had detected a missile launch from Yemen, with air defenses responding to the threat.

The latest strike follows a series of attacks claimed by the Houthis in recent days. On Saturday, the group announced it had launched ballistic missiles toward Israeli military sites, with Israel reporting the interception of at least one projectile. A day later, drones and cruise missiles targeted southern areas, including Beersheba and Eilat.

Further incidents included the interception of two unmanned aerial vehicles overnight on Monday, while on Wednesday, the Houthis announced a third missile attack, which they said was coordinated with Iran and Hezbollah. Israeli forces again reported intercepting a missile launched from Yemen.

The growing frequency of these attacks highlights the expanding scope of the conflict, with Iran-aligned groups increasingly engaging Israel from multiple fronts.
