Professor Mohammed Ihsan is a global academic, genocide expert, and former minister in multiple cabinets of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), with deep expertise in the forensic documentation of mass atrocities. An expert in international law, post-conflict reconstruction, and transitional justice, Professor Ihsan holds three PhDs—in International Law, Political Science, and Comparative Religion.
He is a senior research fellow at King’s College London, senior visiting professor at Yale University, and honorary senior professor at the University of Exeter. He has held academic appointments across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
