Two civilians injured in bomb explosion in Syria’s Afrin

A source from the city of Afrin told Kurdistan24 that a bomb that was placed in a garbage container exploded on the Raco road.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Two people were injured after an explosion in the Syrian-Kurdish city of Afrin on Friday. 

A source from the city of Afrin told Kurdistan24 that a bomb that was placed in a garbage container exploded on the Raco road.

According to initial information, as a result of the explosion, two people were injured and were taken to the hospital.

Since the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish army and its armed groups in March 2018, the security situation has deteriorated and explosions often occur in the city.
