Kurds, tragic death in English Channel, trying to cross over to UK

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – On Monday, Abdullah Mohammed, Diyar Kamaran’s uncle, from Darbandikhan, talked to Kurdistan24, telling his brother's tragic story "Kamaran rang me last night, he and his son Diyar, 20, were on an inflatable boat carrying nearly 90 people”
According to Mohammed’s explanation, the small inflatable boat headed from France to the UK through the English Channel, but it capsized in the channel, Kamaran lost his son and he is now in a French hotel.

In a conversation over the phone, Diyar's father, Kamaran would tell the detail to a friend of his that the smuggler had tried to take them from France to Britain, with a small boat that had 90 people on.
“Suddenly, the 90 migrants were frightened, I didn't know what was happening, the occurrence of stampede, then my son and I fell under the feet of the crowd,” Kamran further added
“I didn't know which country all those migrants were from,” Kamaran with grieving said “I hope I can return my son's corps to Kurdistan.”
“It’s awful,’’ Foreign Secretary David Lammy told the BBC. “It’s a further loss of life.”
About 40 migrants have been rescued by the French coast guard, 8 lost their lives.
