ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – A report by the 1st Specialization Board of Forensic Medicine has concluded that Narin Güran, the young girl who went missing on August 21 and was found dead in a stream bed in Diyarbakır's Bağlar district on September 8, was killed on the same day she disappeared.

The board, having evaluated forensic evidence and the autopsy report, submitted its findings to the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The report states that while a medical assessment regarding potential sexual assault is not possible with the available data, it is definitive that the girl's death occurred on August 21.

Regarding the traumatic severance of the left leg below the knee, the report attributes this to animal activity after death.

The unanimous conclusion of the board is that the child's death was caused by the closure of her mouth and nose, leading to suffocation due to pressure on the neck.

Meanwhile, the opinion of the 2nd Specialization Board of Forensic Medicine on the teeth marks found on the arm of Narin Güran's brother, Enes Güran, is expected to be released tomorrow.

This information could provide further insight into the circumstances surrounding Narin's tragic death.
