Farmers whose lands are affected by the Smaquli Dam Project will be compensated
The Erbil governor's office said in a statement that the compensation measures have been completed for the farmers whose lands were affected by the Smaquli dam project.
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – on Monday, the Erbil Governorate published an announcement stating that any farmers’ lands that have been taken over by the Smaquli dam, they will be given rights.
The council confirmed, over past few days, they were in contact with the Premier’s office regarding that issue.
Meanwhile, the procedures and all necessary work completed, soon all the farmers will get compensated.
