Duhok Governor reports no complaints filed during successful parliamentary election
Governor Tatar congratulated the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and Duhok for their active participation in what he described as a “democratic and civilized process that reflects Kurdish society.”

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – In a press conference held on Sunday, Duhok Governor Ali Tatar expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the Kurdistan Region parliamentary election. He highlighted the seamless execution of the voting process in Duhok, stating, “From 7 am to 6 pm, no complaints were filed. While some technical problems arose, they were resolved quickly, with only a few devices experiencing failures in the evening.”
Governor Tatar congratulated the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and Duhok for their active participation in what he described as a “democratic and civilized process that reflects Kurdish society.” He emphasized that the election represents a significant victory for Kurdistan and its people.
While acknowledging that a number of citizens faced challenges casting their votes due to technical issues, Tatar reaffirmed the overall success of the electoral process. He added, “Any data reported outside of what the commission announces is unofficial. The participation rate in Duhok was high, and had it not been for fingerprint reading issues, we believe the rate would have been even higher.”
