ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani on Wednesday extended his congratulations to US President-elect Donald Trump, Vice President-elect James David Vance, and the American people, acknowledging the successful completion of the US electoral process. Al-Sudani underscored Iraq’s dedication to reinforcing its partnership with the US.
In a statement posted on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, and shared by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Prime Minister al-Sudani expressed his best wishes for the incoming US administration, remarking, “We congratulate President-elect Donald Trump, his Vice President James David Vance, and the American people on the success of the electoral process.”
