ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani received a delegation from the al-Anbar United Alliance, led by Qasim al-Fahdawi, at his office in Pirmam on Monday.

The meeting focused on Iraq's current political situation, regional developments, and recent changes affecting the country.

Both parties discussed strategies for maintaining Iraq's stability and the importance of coordination and joint efforts among Iraqi political factions.

The al-Anbar United Alliance represents political interests from Anbar Province, Iraq's largest governorate by area, predominantly populated by Sunni Arabs.

Such meetings between Kurdish leadership and representatives from other Iraqi provinces are crucial for maintaining political dialogue and understanding between different communities in Iraq.

President Masoud Barzani, as a key Kurdish leader, has historically played a significant role in mediating between various Iraqi political factions and promoting stability in the country.

The timing of this meeting is particularly significant as Iraq continues to face various political and security challenges that require cooperation between different political entities and ethnic groups.
