Iraqi airstrike eliminates four ISIS members in Kirkuk

The operation was executed by the Joint Operations Command of the Republic of Iraq, leveraging accurate intelligence from the Military Intelligence Directorate and meticulous follow-up efforts.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced on Friday that a precision airstrike by F-16 fighter jets killed four members of ISIS on Hamrin Mountain in Kirkuk.  

The operation was executed by the Joint Operations Command of the Republic of Iraq, leveraging accurate intelligence from the Military Intelligence Directorate and meticulous follow-up efforts.  

In a statement, the Iraqi Security Media Cell affirmed its commitment to eradicating the terrorist group: “We will continue to target ISIS strongholds and their sleeping cells.”  

Hamrin Mountain has been a focal point for operations against ISIS remnants as Iraqi security forces intensify efforts to dismantle the group’s network across the country.
