Iraq evacuates its embassy building in Syria, moved its staff to Lebanon
Following hours after Bashar al-Assad regime was overthrown and Damascus has fallen into the control of the armed opposition, the Iraqi embassy left their building.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – According to the international media outlets, the Iraq Government evacuated the building that its embassy accommodated and moved its embassy staff members to Lebanon, on Sunday.
Following hours after Bashar al-Assad regime was overthrown and Damascus has fallen into the control of the armed opposition, the Iraqi embassy left their building.
Earlier the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation alongside the Iraqi National Airlines announced the suspension of the flights between Baghdad and Beirut due to the recent developments in Syria.

The latest developments in Syria surprisingly occurred, in the early morning of Sunday, the rebel forces entered Damascus ousted the regime of Al-Assad's dynasty who ruled Syria for more than half-century.
