Dutch FM, Caspar Veldkamp talks to press regarding Syria
"We are carefully dealing with Syria because we do not know how the Syrian HTS and other groups are dealing with the situation," Dutch Foreign Minister, Caspar Veldkamp told Kurdistan 24, on Monday.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – In an interview, on Monday December 16th, 2024, with the Dutch Foreign Minister, Caspar Veldkamp, the Netherlands' position regarding the armed oppositions and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in Syria was informed.
"We are carefully dealing with Syria because we do not know how the Syrian HTS and other groups are dealing with the situation," Dutch Foreign Minister, Caspar Veldkamp told Kurdistan 24, on Monday.
Veldkamp also stressed that there are other countries intervention in the Syria circumstances, which has led his countries to take extra care.
In another question regarding the Syrian asylum-seekers and refugees, the Dutch Foreign Minister's response was "I hope the best for Syria and to be a country where all its refugees can willingly return to".
