PM Barzani extends Christmas Eve greetings, calls for unity and coexistence
In a statement released by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Tuesday, Prime Minister Barzani congratulated Christians and wished them a peaceful and joyful holiday season.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani extended warm wishes to the Christian community in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world on the occasion of Christmas Eve.
In a statement released by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Tuesday, Prime Minister Barzani congratulated Christians and wished them a peaceful and joyful holiday season.
“On the occasion of the birthday of the Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), I congratulate the Christians of Kurdistan, Iraq, and the world and wish them a peaceful and happy holiday,” the statement read.
Prime Minister Barzani emphasized the Kurdistan Region's longstanding religious harmony and coexistence tradition. “Kurdistan has always been a land of coexistence for different religions. We must further develop a culture of peaceful coexistence and strengthen social peace, brotherhood, and unity among all communities in Kurdistan,” he stated.
The message highlights the region's commitment to fostering mutual respect and unity among its diverse population, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness during the holiday season.
