During this important diplomatic mission, Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani is scheduled to meet with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan. According to official sources, their discussions will focus on strengthening relations between Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and the Kingdom of Jordan, with particular emphasis on expanding economic, political, and security cooperation.

These discussions are anticipated to cover a wide range of issues, including trade facilitation, investment opportunities, counterterrorism efforts, and cultural exchanges.
This visit highlights the Kurdistan Region’s broader strategy of cultivating strong diplomatic relationships with key Arab states, a policy that has gained momentum in recent years amid shifting alliances and geopolitical transformations in the Middle East.
