The incident follows earlier reports that Iranian drone and missile activity damaged a desalination plant and injured three people in Muharraq. Regional tensions have also prompted air defense responses in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, where authorities reported intercepting missiles and drones amid the widening conflict.
