Iranian Drone Strike in Bahrain Injures 32 in Sitra, Bahrain's Health Ministry Says
Bahrain’s Ministry of Health said an Iranian drone strike on the Sitra area early Monday wounded 32 civilians, including four in critical condition. The injured include a 17-year-old girl with severe facial injuries, two children aged seven and eight, and a two-month-old infant under medical supervision. Officials said all victims are Bahraini citizens and are receiving protocol medical treatment while specialized teams monitor their conditions. The ministry added that Bahrain’s healthcare system remains on heightened readiness following recent attacks. The incident follows earlier reports that Iranian drone and missile activity damaged a desalination plant and injured three people in Muharraq. Regional tensions have also prompted air defense responses in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, where authorities reported intercepting missiles and drones amid the widening conflict.
