ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Director of Erbil International Airport, Ahmed Hoshyar told Kurdistan 24 that flights to and from the airport have been suspended since 6 p.m. today due to dense fog.

The Director stated that flights would not resume until the situation returned to normal.

Over the past few days, Erbil has been blanketed in fog, reducing visibility. Meanwhile, the Kurdistan Regional Government has issued a warning to its citizens to drive safely.

The weather conditions have also hindered traffic on Erbil province’s highways.
